Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Professor Suhaib Al-Shaibi joined the Faculty of Sharia Sciences \u2013 Souq Al-Juma, University of Tripoli, as an Assistant Lecturer in 2019. During this period, he undertook numerous tasks that contributed to the development and advancement of the faculty. He also regularly delivered awareness lectures to students as part of the faculty\u2019s weekly scientific activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He served as a member of the Scientific Committee for the First International Conference<\/strong> at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences, titled \u201cContemporary Atheism: Causes and Ways of Confrontation\u201d<\/em>, and was also a member of the Scientific Committee for the First Forum of Libyan Universities<\/strong>, titled \u201cNational Reconciliation Towards One Homeland and One Libyan Nation\u201d<\/em> in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professional Career<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Upon joining the university, Professor Suhaib Al-Shaibi was assigned as the Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Religion<\/strong> at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences \u2013 Souq Al-Juma, during the period from 2019 to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He traveled to Egypt<\/strong> to continue his studies at Mansoura University<\/strong>, where he obtained a Master\u2019s degree in Religions and Islamic Sects<\/strong> with excellent<\/em> grade, along with a recommendation to publish his thesis at the university\u2019s expense in 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suhaib holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Islamic Studies<\/strong> from the Faculty of Arts, University of Tripoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He currently serves as Head of the Department of Research and Consultations<\/strong> at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences since 2022, in addition to teaching in the Departments of Fundamentals of Religion and Sharia. He has combined teaching, research, and efforts to raise the students\u2019 level in the field of research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Interests<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Professor Suhaib is an active researcher who has published in several journals. Notable publications include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • \u201cViolation of Multiparty Pluralism Against the Principles of Sharia Politics\u201d<\/em>, published by Dar Al-Athar Al-Misriya, 2012.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u201cThe Geopolitical Factor and Its Impact on the Spread of the Ibadi Sect in Jebel Nafusa\u201d<\/em>, Faculty of Arts, Mansoura University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    He has participated in several conferences, such as the Contemporary Atheism: Causes and Ways of Confrontation<\/strong> conference, where he contributed a paper titled \u201cMistakes in Refuting the Atheist Article\u201d<\/em> at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences \u2013 Souq Al-Juma, University of Tripoli.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    External Activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    In addition to teaching at the Faculty of Sharia Sciences \u2013 Souq Al-Juma, Suhaib delivers scientific lessons in Tripoli, explaining foundational Islamic texts at Omar Ibn Abdulaziz Mosque<\/strong>. He has also been a preacher and collaborator<\/strong> with the General Authority of Endowments<\/strong> since 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
