Office of Libraries, Publications, and Publishing
- Providing books, references, scientific journals, and all means of knowledge within the university.
- Implementing systems related to the technical field of libraries; by equipping libraries, supplying them with books, classifying and cataloging them, and facilitating access and borrowing.
- Working to provide libraries with suitable publications and books issued by different publishing houses.
- Paying attention to study halls and providing all their needs. - Submitting helpful suggestions and preparing statistics on book traffic within university libraries.
- Working to open sales offices inside the university and provide the book to the student at a reasonable price.
- Participating in and benefiting from book fairs both domestically and internationally.
- Monitoring the movement of authorship and publishing, collecting manuscripts and implementing the procedures for printing them.
- Organizing book fairs and encouraging communication with public and private publishers and publishing houses.
- Providing job opportunities, especially for graduates of the library department, and holding courses to develop library work within the university.
The General Administration of Libraries and Publications is responsible for providing books, references, periodicals, and scientific journals, and for organizing the use of university libraries by providing all publications, information centers, and various publications.
The administration exercises its powers through the following administrative offices:

Central Library
The central library occupies a special place in the university, due to the services it provides to students, professors, and researchers. It assists students in obtaining sources and references that help them acquire information that serves their studies and aids in their self-education. It also assists professors in carrying out their duties and mission in teaching and scientific research, and the books it contains are comprehensive.
The library is divided into the following departments and units:
- Classification and Indexing Department
- Periodicals Section
- Supply Department
- Lending and Access Unit
- Document Imaging Unit
Sub-libraries
Islamic law, theology, and Quranic readings.
The central library supplies these libraries with collections of various books and references, arranging them categorized and stored in their designated areas.
