Message
- The Research and Consulting Department at the College of Sharia Sciences - Souq Al Jumaa seeks to employ all capabilities and services to make the college a leader in the field of research, and to provide expertise and consultations to the college administrations, and public and private entities.
- Contributing to solving societal issues in a distinguished scientific manner and with high professionalism that keeps pace with the developments of the times through the provision of research, consultations and training.
- Coordination between the relevant scientific departments regarding technical consultations received from the university's Technical Consulting Office or the university's scientific research and studies centers.
Tasks and objectives:
- Providing diverse and high-quality scientific consultations for all scientific disciplines.
- Overcoming the difficulties that may hinder scientific research at the college, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
- Participating in organizing seminars, conferences, research workshops and scientific programs.
- Conducting scientific research, studies, and consultations, and developing scientific programs and the timeframe for achieving them.
- Collecting and classifying the scientific output of faculty members, and supervising its deposit in the university's digital repository.
- Monitoring the updating of the college's publications on its website, evaluating their effectiveness, and preparing periodic reports on the matter.
- Taking the necessary measures to implement what the editorial team of the college magazine requests in order to prepare the magazine at the required level, in coordination with the relevant authorities.
- Preparing, training and developing qualified and academically trained human resources4 for the purpose of community development.
- Enhancing the participation of college staff in community service.
- Contributing to the development of scientific expertise in the field of scientific research and consulting.
