The decision to establish the college was officially issued as one of the colleges of the University of Tripoli (College of Sharia Sciences / Souq Al-Jum’ah in 2019 AD, and it is one of the colleges and its headquarters is in the city of Tripoli (Souq Al-Jum’ah).
2019 – 2020Administrative and academic establishment
The administrative and academic establishment phase, where there were no students yet, and the preparation of academic programs began (Bachelor of Sharia, Fundamentals of Religion, Master of Fundamentals of Religion).
2020Accepting the first payment
The initial admissions process has officially begun, with the college starting to receive new students.
2021 – 2022College expansion
The college expanded its academic departments and increased the number of faculty members.
2023 – 2024University of Sharia Sciences
The college has transformed from a small institution in its early days into a fully-fledged university that today attracts hundreds of Libyan and non-Libyan students.
