Technical Affairs and Projects Administration

It is responsible for all work related to technical affairs and overseeing the implementation of university projects, providing technical opinions and advice, and exercises its functions through the following two offices:

1 - The Technical Affairs Office, which is responsible for the following:

  • Participating in the preparation of the university's transformation budget.
  • Participating in studying the university's needs for devices and equipment and preparing reports about them.
  • Providing technical opinions and advice to the university.
  • Performing technical maintenance work for all the university's various facilities and equipment, operating and maintaining buildings, and registering them.
  • Creating and organizing the university's gardens and supervising the landscaping work in a way that ensures the university appears in a manner befitting its aesthetic status.
  • Supervising projects in a way that ensures their completion on time, studying the difficulties that hinder the progress of the work, and working to overcome and resolve them.
  • Participating in the preparation of the annual estimated budget.
  • Working to develop and raise the level of engineering and technical staff in the department in coordination with the relevant authorities.
  • Other tasks assigned to him in accordance with applicable legislation.

2 - The Projects Office, which is responsible for the following:

  • Proposing project plans for the university and its colleges, monitoring their implementation, and evaluating them.
  • Participating in the preparation of the university's transformation budget.
  • Preparing designs, maps, and technical studies related to university projects.الجامعة.
  • Supervising higher education projects at the university.
  • Providing technical opinions and advice to the university regarding proposed and ongoing projects at the university.
  • Preparing the technical specifications for construction, maintenance, and laboratory equipment projects, coordinating their approval, and continuously monitoring the implementing and supplying entities.
  • Submitting periodic reports on the department's activity.
  • Other tasks assigned to him in accordance with applicable legislation.
