University Introduction

The university is an academic institution specializing in undergraduate and postgraduate education and scientific research through its various academic departments. It was established in 2019 as the Faculty of Sharia Sciences – Souq al-Jum'ah, and is one of the faculties of the University of Tripoli, located in the Souq al-Jum'ah district of Tripoli.

The faculty adheres to the scientific and academic methods employed in the higher education system, in accordance with the relevant legislation and regulations. It focuses on teaching moderate Islamic sciences through high-quality and distinctive curricula in the Maliki school of thought, its principles, and its sources, enabling it to contribute to reform and the advancement of society to higher levels of progress and prosperity.
